The Collection consists of books and journals primarily in the field of legal history and Roman law (located in the BJ catalog under WBP – Historical-Legal Departments), comprising over 13,000 copies. They constitute part of the collections of the Faculty Library of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, as well as the following departments:

• Department of Roman Law,
• Department of Universal History of State and Law,
• Department of History of Polish Law,
• Department of History of Administration and Religious Law,
• Workshop of Source Publications.

The Collection includes publications dating from the early 19th century to the present day. The collections are continuously supplemented with items for conducting current scientific research as well as for educational purposes.
