Learn about the procedures and conditions for enrolling new Readers in WBP and renewing library accounts.

The following are entitled to use the UJ Faculty Law Library:

• UJ students, doctoral students and employees,
  students, doctoral students and employees of other universities that have a reciprocity agreement with WPiA UJ on sharing library collections,
  libraries as part of interlibrary loans,
  other persons wishing to use the Library's collections.

The basis for the creation and activation of a library account is:

• For students - registration on the list of students in the current academic year and a UJ student ID card on which it is activated as a library card.
  for doctoral students - registration on the list of students in the current academic year and a UJ doctoral student ID card on which it is activated as a library card.
  for UJ employees - an ID card or a current business card.
  for others - an ID card or passport.

Before activating your library account at the WBP Library, you should read the Rules and Regulations of WBP JU and the Information on Processing of Personal Data at the Jagiellonian Library and other JU libraries.

A library account at the WBP is valid:

• for undergraduate and graduate students, postgraduate students and exchange programs, after obtaining an entry in USOS for the new academic year - the account remains valid until the end of the academic year in question,
  for doctoral students, after obtaining an entry in USOS for a new academic year - the account remains valid until the end of the calendar year in which the academic year ends,
  for Jagiellonian University employees and non-UJ employees - an account activated before the end of September remains valid until the end of the current calendar year, while an account activated from October inclusive remains valid until the end of the next calendar year.

WBP readers are required to pay an administrative fee related to the annual activation of the library account in the amount of PLN 50.00.

• People outside the UJ community may be issued a temporary free library card, the so-called guest account. The guest account entitles you to use the Reading Room of the JU for 3 consecutive working days or for JU Guests for the duration of their stay at our University.

Borrowing and providing access to WBP collections is carried out under the terms and conditions specified in the Rules and Regulations of WBP JU, namely:

• Only employees and students of WPiA UJ with an active account in the Library can use the WBP's local and off-site lending library.
• Persons outside the WPiA UJ with an active library account can use the resources of the RUB only on the spot in the reading rooms.
