Computer catalog of library collections covering the collections of institute libraries, faculty libraries and the main library of the Jagiellonian University. The collections of the Faculty Law Library have been entered into the system since 1996, and at present the catalog includes all publications available in the reading room and lending library, with new releases introduced on an ongoing basis and successive additions of older editions.

The card catalog contains resources collected in the Faculty Law Library before 1999, arranged in three sub-catalogs:

• Main catalog
• Periodicals catalog
• Departmental catalog
• The main catalog and the periodicals catalog have an alphabetical arrangement, while the departmental catalog is arranged according to specific legal fields, within a field chronologically according to the year of publication of the work, and within a year alphabetically.

Note

All acquisitions received by the Library since 1999 are registered only in the computer catalog, which is successively supplemented with older editions therefore searching for and ordering the collection of the Faculty Law Library should always begin with the JU Library Catalog, which registers works in the collection of the Library published since 1950 and also includes many prints published before this period.

If the title you are looking for (published before 1950) is not in the JU Library Catalog, check the card catalog.

If a wanted title is registered in the card catalog, to use it you must fill out a traditional reverse and submit it to the librarian on duty in the WBP Reading Room.
